Kawasaki Unleashes a Bold New Z900 for 2025

Kawasaki Unleashes a Bold New Z900 for 2025

Kawasaki could have coasted on the success of its Z900, but instead, the Akashi factory has taken the 2025 model to new heights with fresh design and performance upgrades. The Z900’s revitalized sugomi design grabs attention instantly, with aggressive, sharply defined styling that integrates sleek metal elements hinting at the powerful performance within.

Under the hood, the Z900’s 948cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine is engineered for responsive power, delivering quick acceleration with a stronger mid-range punch. The new electronic throttle enhances control, while Kawasaki’s advanced electronic management systems, featuring an IMU, oversee numerous functions. Enhanced front brakes with radial-mount 4-piston calipers pair seamlessly with new Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires, delivering a responsive, linear braking feel.

At the front, the bike’s innovative, compact headlights and advanced LED taillight provide a sharp, modern look, while brushed aluminum side shrouds and accents add a premium metallic aesthetic. A redesigned, more comfortable seat is flatter, allowing riders to shift easily while keeping focus on the large, 5-inch all-digital TFT color display that now includes standard electronic cruise control.

In an industry first for Kawasaki, turn-by-turn navigation is now available on the instrument panel, guiding riders on the go. Integration with Rideology The App Motorcycle even enables voice-commanded control of various functions**.

But that’s just the beginning. The 2025 Z900 comes packed with new features, including updated camshaft profiles for better fuel economy and increased low-end torque, along with ECU refinements that improve fuel efficiency by 16% and reduce CO2 emissions over previous models. Kawasaki’s KTRC traction control, selectable power modes, and integrated riding modes enhance the rider’s experience and safety.

Further enhancing comfort, the front seat now offers thicker urethane padding and adjustable height options*** with the ERGO-FIT High seat at 830mm and the ERGO-FIT Low seat at 810mm. The sturdy aluminum fat-type handlebars add to the bike’s rugged feel and control.

Sugomi design doesn’t end at the front—the advanced LED taillight incorporates a 3D light-guiding design, giving it a high-tech look. For added convenience, the cockpit area of the SE model includes a USB Type-C outlet for easy charging on the road.

The Z900 SE variant comes with even more premium components, such as Öhlins rear suspension, Brembo front brakes, and exclusive colors and graphics. European riders can also look forward to 70 kW and 35 kW versions that make Z Supernaked excitement accessible for A2 license holders.

With the 2025 Z900, Kawasaki is more than ready to satisfy the appetite of Z fans across Europe—let the feast begin!
